Effective during travel

Now a constant travel companion, Bulardi's saccharomycetes are identical in composition to the pharmacy antidiarrheal drug Enterol. This year I took it for the first time before going on holiday; now we can’t go on a trip without it. Although we mainly use it for vomiting, its antidiarrheal activity wasn't needed (which is excellent). For adults, we take it during trips or when gastrointestinal issues begin, and it has consistently worked well. For a child experiencing vomiting, I administer it alongside sorbents (not at the same time). If vomiting occurs before the capsule has fully taken effect, I give the drug again after vomiting, and typically, normalisation happens within a day.

Cost-effective option

Saccharomycetes Bulardi are available in pharmacies, and I find them more cost-effective at Iherb than alternatives like Maxilac and Enterol. This yeast is resistant to hydrochloric acid, and when taken daily, it reaches all parts of the gastrointestinal tract. It's transient for humans and is excreted without side effects within 2–5 days after stopping intake. It acts as a local intestinal antiseptic, beneficial for diarrhoea of various origins, including bacterial and viral. Its several mechanisms of action include antimicrobial and antitoxic properties, and it also stimulates enzymatic activity in the intestines.

Aid during antibiotic treatment
6 people found this helpful
I tried this on an adult suffering from a bacterial infection during antibiotic treatment, and we noticed a good effect. The gelatinous capsules, which can be opened, allowed me to administer 1/3 to my 1.5-year-old child after confirming the bacterial attachment. This resulted in improved bowel function and easier disease tolerance, relieving constipation effectively.

Protects against pathogens

Probiotic from pathogenic Saccharomyces Boulardii is effective for eliminating pathogens from the intestines and supporting microflora. It safeguards your intestines and helps prevent severe diarrhoea caused by infections, including rotavirus and salmonella. These probiotic mushrooms not only hinder harmful flora from thriving but also enrich the intestines with beneficial microflora. I recommend taking this probiotic for two to three weeks, once every six months, to maintain health and allow it to cooperate with your body.

Very useful probiotics! Boulardi saccharomycetes boost immunity and swiftly alleviate acute diarrhoea in both adults and children. They are also effective against antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, aiding in the gentle restoration of intestinal microflora. These yeasts are known to help in diabetes and obesity treatment, quickly changing intestinal microbiota, which reduces body fat and improves liver steatosis.

Effective intestinal remedy
My essential item in the home medicine cabinet. The price is certainly more beneficial than the pharmacy Enterol, which many already know. It is a true salvation for various intestinal issues. After suffering from a bacterial infection I picked up in Thailand and finding that even antibiotics didn't help, I discovered this miraculous remedy. Remarkably, within just two days of taking it, my symptoms vanished! A familiar therapist advises using it alongside antibiotics to completely avoid any dysbiosis. Wishing everyone good health!

It really works if you have a bacterial infection and can be paired with probiotics too.

Probiotic effectiveness
Saccharomyces serves as a natural assistant against poisoning and gastrointestinal disorders. I even use it as a yeast substitute in baking. This live yeast enhances intestinal microflora and restores bowel function, especially beneficial when combined with prolonged antibacterial treatments to prevent dysbacteriosis. Moreover, these probiotics withstand the acidic gastric environment, ensuring their efficacy as they reach the intestines.
