Effective during travel

Now a constant travel companion, Bulardi's saccharomycetes are identical in composition to the pharmacy antidiarrheal drug Enterol. This year I took it for the first time before going on holiday; now we can’t go on a trip without it. Although we mainly use it for vomiting, its antidiarrheal activity wasn't needed (which is excellent). For adults, we take it during trips or when gastrointestinal issues begin, and it has consistently worked well. For a child experiencing vomiting, I administer it alongside sorbents (not at the same time). If vomiting occurs before the capsule has fully taken effect, I give the drug again after vomiting, and typically, normalisation happens within a day.

Cost-effective option

Saccharomycetes Bulardi are available in pharmacies, and I find them more cost-effective at Iherb than alternatives like Maxilac and Enterol. This yeast is resistant to hydrochloric acid, and when taken daily, it reaches all parts of the gastrointestinal tract. It's transient for humans and is excreted without side effects within 2–5 days after stopping intake. It acts as a local intestinal antiseptic, beneficial for diarrhoea of various origins, including bacterial and viral. Its several mechanisms of action include antimicrobial and antitoxic properties, and it also stimulates enzymatic activity in the intestines.

Aid during antibiotic treatment

I tried this on an adult suffering from a bacterial infection during antibiotic treatment, and we noticed a good effect. The gelatinous capsules, which can be opened, allowed me to administer 1/3 to my 1.5-year-old child after confirming the bacterial attachment. This resulted in improved bowel function and easier disease tolerance, relieving constipation effectively.

Probiotic from pathogenic Saccharomyces Boulardii is effective for eliminating pathogens from the intestines and supporting microflora. It safeguards your intestines and helps prevent severe diarrhoea caused by infections, including rotavirus and salmonella. These probiotic mushrooms not only hinder harmful flora from thriving but also enrich the intestines with beneficial microflora. I recommend taking this probiotic for two to three weeks, once every six months, to maintain health and allow it to cooperate with your body.

Supports immune function

Very useful probiotics! Boulardi saccharomycetes boost immunity and swiftly alleviate acute diarrhoea in both adults and children. They are also effective against antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, aiding in the gentle restoration of intestinal microflora. These yeasts are known to help in diabetes and obesity treatment, quickly changing intestinal microbiota, which reduces body fat and improves liver steatosis.
A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter the body, multiply, and cause damage to tissues. These infections can range in severity from mild to life-threatening and can affect any part of the body, including the skin, respiratory system, urinary tract, and more. Common symptoms of bacterial infections include fever, swelling, redness, and pain in the affected area. While the immune system can often combat these invaders, sometimes it requires medical intervention, such as antibiotics, to help eliminate the infection.
It's essential to differentiate between viral and bacterial infections, as the treatment approaches differ significantly. For instance, antibiotics are effective against bacteria, but they have no impact on viruses. Common bacterial infections include strep throat, bacterial pneumonia, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). To reduce the risk of bacterial infections, practicing good hygiene, such as frequent handwashing and proper food handling, is crucial. If you suspect you have a bacterial infection or are experiencing concerning symptoms, it’s important to seek medical advice for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial yeast strain known for its probiotic properties. Originally isolated from lychee and mangosteen fruit in the 1920s by French microbiologist Henri Boulard, this yeast is widely recognized for its ability to support digestive health. It is commonly used to prevent and treat diarrhea, especially in cases related to antibiotic use or gastrointestinal infections. Saccharomyces boulardii works by helping to maintain the natural balance of good bacteria in the gut, promoting the growth of beneficial microorganisms, and producing substances that inhibit pathogen growth.
In addition to its anti-diarrheal benefits, research suggests that Saccharomyces boulardii may also contribute to other health benefits, including digestive recovery after gastrointestinal illness and potential support for conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). While it is generally regarded as safe for most individuals, those with compromised immune systems or central venous catheters should consult healthcare professionals prior to use. As always, it's best to choose high-quality supplements that clearly specify the strain and dosage of Saccharomyces boulardii to ensure efficacy.
Saccharomyces boulardii is a strain of yeast that is often used as a probiotic to support gut health. While it is primarily known for its role in managing digestive issues like diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome, its efficacy against bacterial infections is not as clear-cut. Some studies suggest that S. boulardii may help in the prevention or treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea by helping to restore the balance of gut flora disrupted by antibiotics, which in turn could indirectly support the body’s ability to fend off bacterial infections.
However, it is important to note that S. boulardii is not an antibiotic and should not be relied upon as a primary treatment for bacterial infections. Instead, it may serve as a complementary approach alongside prescribed medications. Always consult with a healthcare professional before using any probiotic, especially in the context of bacterial infections, to ensure appropriate treatment and avoid any potential interactions with medical therapies.
Based on user reviews, individuals taking Saccharomyces Boulardii for bacterial infections typically start noticing positive results within a short timeframe. Many users, such as one who noted that their symptoms disappeared within just two days of use after contracting a bacterial infection while traveling (Read Review), report rapid alleviation of symptoms. Another user experienced significant relief from ongoing intestinal issues just a week into treatment (Read Review), highlighting the efficacy of this probiotic in promoting gut health and combating bacterial overgrowth.
In various accounts, users emphasize that Saccharomyces Boulardii effectively complements antibiotic treatments while minimizing side effects and improving overall digestive health. For example, after taking antibiotics for a dental infection, one user reported the disappearance of side effects within one to two days of introducing this probiotic into their regimen (Read Review). Overall, many find that incorporating this supplement not only assists in recovering from bacterial infections but also supports their intestinal microbiome effectively in a matter of days to weeks.
Users have reported a notable range of improvements in their symptoms after using Saccharomyces Boulardii. Many individuals highlight quick relief from gastrointestinal issues, with some experiencing significant changes within just a day or two. For instance, one user shared that after suffering from a bacterial infection, their symptoms vanished within two days of beginning the treatment (Read Review). Others have found that the supplement effectively alleviated symptoms of acute diarrhoea and helped restore intestinal balance after prolonged antibiotic use, underscoring its role in managing antibiotic-associated digestive issues (Read Review; Read Review).
Furthermore, users noted ongoing benefits such as improvements in bowel function and overall gut health, making Saccharomyces Boulardii a preferred choice for those seeking to combat various digestive disorders, including IBS and infections caused by bacteria or rotavirus. One user mentioned that symptoms related to stress-induced diarrhoea improved significantly after taking the supplements, while another reported effective relief from constipation (Read Review; Read Review). Overall, while individual results can vary, there are numerous anecdotes supporting the efficacy of this probiotic in promoting gut health and restoring digestive normalcy.
Users have reported that combining Saccharomyces Boulardii with other supplements can enhance its effectiveness in managing bacterial infections and gastrointestinal issues. For instance, one user mentioned giving this probiotic alongside sorbents to a child experiencing vomiting, which resulted in normalization within a day (Read Review). Additionally, many users indicate that it effectively pairs with antibiotics, often recommending its use to counteract side effects and promote recovery from antibiotic-associated digestive disturbances (Read Review; Read Review).
Moreover, several reviews highlight the versatility of Saccharomyces Boulardii when used in conjunction with other supplements aimed at restoring gut health and managing intestinal infections. For example, combining it with other probiotics can amplify results, effectively curbing pathogenic bacteria and promoting a balanced gut microbiome (Read Review; Read Review). Overall, users seem to find a synergistic effect when integrating Saccharomyces Boulardii with other digestive aids or treatments, leading to quicker recovery and improved gut health.
Users report varying doses of Saccharomyces Boulardii for the treatment of bacterial infections, emphasizing its effectiveness at different levels. Most adult users noted taking 1-2 capsules daily, especially during and after antibiotic treatments, to minimize side effects and restore gut flora balance (see Read Review). Additionally, many find a three-week regimen particularly beneficial for maintaining gut health and preventing complications associated with intestinal infections (Read Review).
In cases involving children, several reviewers recommend using opened capsules to dose smaller amounts, such as one-third of a capsule for toddlers, to adapt the dose to their needs while ensuring safety and effectiveness (Read Review). Overall, it appears that Saccharomyces Boulardii can be administered flexibly, emphasizing its safety and efficacy when paired correctly with other treatments to combat bacterial infections and restore intestinal balance.

Effective intestinal remedy
My essential item in the home medicine cabinet. The price is certainly more beneficial than the pharmacy Enterol, which many already know. It is a true salvation for various intestinal issues. After suffering from a bacterial infection I picked up in Thailand and finding that even antibiotics didn't help, I discovered this miraculous remedy. Remarkably, within just two days of taking it, my symptoms vanished! A familiar therapist advises using it alongside antibiotics to completely avoid any dysbiosis. Wishing everyone good health!

Saccharomyces serves as a natural assistant against poisoning and gastrointestinal disorders. I even use it as a yeast substitute in baking. This live yeast enhances intestinal microflora and restores bowel function, especially beneficial when combined with prolonged antibacterial treatments to prevent dysbacteriosis. Moreover, these probiotics withstand the acidic gastric environment, ensuring their efficacy as they reach the intestines.
